By installing Nerite you agree to these terms. If you do not, please

What Nerite is
Nerite is a record-keeping and calculation tool for aquarium keepers. It
stores what you enter and performs arithmetic on it.
It is not veterinary advice. The dosing calculations, target
ranges, species information, compatibility warnings and health guidance in this
app are general reference material. They cannot account for your specific
system, your test kit's accuracy, or the condition of a particular animal.
You are responsible for every dose you add to your aquarium and every
treatment you administer. Verify figures independently, and consult an
aquatic veterinarian when an animal is unwell.
Subscriptions and purchases
- Premium is offered as a monthly or annual auto-renewing subscription, or as
a one-time lifetime unlock.
- Any free trial length is shown on the purchase screen before you commit. If
you cancel before the trial ends you are not charged.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless
cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends. Your store account is charged
on renewal.
- Manage or cancel in Google Play › Subscriptions, or
App Store › Apple ID › Subscriptions. Deleting the app does
not cancel a subscription.
- Prices are shown in your local currency on the purchase screen and may vary
by region and over time.
- Refunds are handled by Google Play or Apple under their policies, not by
us. We will always help you contact them.
Your data
Your aquarium records are stored on your device and belong to you. We do not
claim any rights over them. Because they are local, they are not backed
up by us — if you lose or reset the device without a backup, the data
is gone. Keep a device backup.
Acceptable use
Do not reverse engineer the app, attempt to circumvent the paid features, or
use it to break the law. We may end your access if you do.
Availability
Nerite works offline by design, but features that depend on a store or on
our servers — purchases, restoring a purchase, notifications — require a
connection and can be interrupted. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" and we
are not liable for loss of livestock, loss of data, or any indirect or
consequential loss arising from its use. Nothing here limits liability that
cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by
negligence. Where you have statutory consumer rights, these terms do not
override them.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after a change means you accept
the updated version; material changes will be announced in the app.
